A small data footprint.

This website

https://null.audio is a static website. It sets no cookies and embeds no advertising or tracking pixels. The only third-party script it loads on its own is the visitor statistics described below; Lemon Squeezy's checkout script loads only when you press a Buy button. There is nothing to consent to.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare Workers. The host processes technical request information such as IP addresses, browser details and requested pages to deliver and protect the service, under its own terms. We keep no visitor database of our own.

When you press a Buy button, the page loads Lemon Squeezy's checkout script and opens its checkout over this page (or, if the script cannot load, takes you to the checkout page). From there, Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy applies; it may set the cookies its checkout needs.

Visitor statistics

To see which pages people read and where they come from, the site uses Umami Cloud, a cookieless statistics service. When a page loads, a small script sends Umami Cloud the page address, the page that linked to it, any campaign tags in the link, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language, whether you click a Buy button, and whether a purchase in the checkout on this page is completed (only that it happened and for which product, nothing about you or the order). Umami Cloud works out your country and region from your IP address but does not store the IP address. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and it shows us totals, not profiles of individual visitors. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is recorded.

Umami Cloud processes this on our behalf and may do so in the EU or the US under its own safeguards.

Support email

If you write to contact@null.audio, we receive what you put in the email: usually your address, your Live and OS versions, a description of the problem, and a support report if you paste one (null.audio → Troubleshooting → Copy support report; it contains no audio and no licence key).

We use it to answer you and to document an issue when needed. Support email is handled through Google Workspace. We keep it only as long as the conversation or a related support record needs it, unless the law requires longer.

Purchases

Lemon Squeezy sells null.audio products as the merchant of record: it handles checkout, payment, tax, invoices, the download and licence keys, and processes your payment details itself. We never receive card details. We receive the order, customer and licence information we need to deliver the product, provide support, process refunds and deliver updates. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for its own processing.

In the applications

ALIGN and EDIT have no analytics and no automatic crash upload. To activate or deactivate a licence, the app sends the licence key and an activation ID to Lemon Squeezy, which enforces the limit of two computers per product licence. When the app starts with an internet connection it may check the licence again. No audio, project or session data is sent. There is no null.audio account.

Once a day, and when you press Check for updates, the app downloads a small file from null.audio to see whether a newer version exists. That request carries only what any web request does (such as your IP address, to our host). Nothing is installed automatically.

News email

You can sign up for occasional null.audio news about new versions and new products, sent through Brevo. Signup uses double opt-in: you are subscribed only after you confirm by email. Buying a product does not sign you up for news. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we keep an address only while you stay subscribed or until you ask us to remove it.

Customers may receive email about a product they bought when it matters for using it, such as an important fix or a change to the licence terms. That is part of the purchase, not news.

International customers and your rights

Customers may be anywhere in the world, and our service providers may process information in other countries under their own terms and safeguards.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, or receive portable data. You may withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@null.audio. You can also complain to a supervisory authority; for an operator in Lower Saxony, see the Lower Saxony data protection complaint page.

Retention at a glance

  • Support email: as long as the conversation or a related support record needs it, unless the law requires longer.
  • Order and licence data: retained by Lemon Squeezy under its own terms; we keep what our delivery, support and legal records need.
  • News email: while you stay subscribed or until you ask us to remove it.
  • Visitor statistics: aggregated figures, kept by Umami Cloud for up to 6 months.
  • Technical request logs: controlled by Cloudflare Workers under its terms.

If we ever add advertising or campaign tracking, it will come with the required consent, and this page will be updated first.

Effective date: 24 October 2026.
